 About Terry Robinson RN, AP
Registered Nurse, Board Certified & Licensed Acupuncture Physician
I'm a Board Certified and Licensed Acupuncture Physician. I graduated from The Florida College of Integrative Medicine, Cum Laude, with a Masters of Science in Oriental Medicine and a concurrent Bachelor’s Degree in Professional Health Studies.
Having started my career in health care in 1991, following honorable service in the US Marine Corps, I began my path working EMS (Emergency Medical Service) for an ambulance service for the first nine years. Following my educational goals, I completed my Associates Degree in Nursing and I also hold licensure as an RN (Registered Nurse) where I have worked in cardio-thoracic surgery and currently the emergency room.
My love for service to others has allowed me to study with Dr. Li-Chun Huan, in auricular (ear) acupuncture and Dr. Scott Olsen, in philosophy and perrineal wisdom. My life has allowed me to meet and explore with such healers as Dr. Ralph Metzner and Peruvian medicine men, as well as breathwork with those trained by Stanislov Grof. I am currently working on my Bachelor’s in Esoteric Science through Claregate College which is under the curriculum of Dr. Douglas Baker.
It is with the aforementioned life experience that I desire to aid as well as learn from those with whom my life crosses paths with.
I am a member of the American Association of Oriental Medicine (AAOM), with specialties in Acupoint injection, auricular acupuncture, tuina (Chinese massage) and nutrition as well as Traditional Chinese Medicine.
